Textile Designing

Homecare Textiles is seeking an experienced Textile Designer with a strong background in Computer Aided Design (CAD) and at least 10 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will lead a large team of 1000 professionals and be responsible for creating innovative textile designs that align with current market trends and company goals. This role demands exceptional creativity, technical proficiency, and leadership skills to manage design projects from concept through completion while ensuring quality and efficiency across the team. The Textile Designer will drive the development and execution of original fabric patterns, color schemes, and textures using advanced CAD tools. Collaborating closely with production, marketing, and sales departments, the designer ensures designs meet client specifications and industry standards. The incumbent must balance artistic vision with practical feasibility to contribute to the companys competitive positioning in the textile market.
Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and inspire a team of 1000 textile design professionals to achieve creative and operational excellence.
Develop original textile designs using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software, incorporating trends, textures, and color schemes that meet market demands.
Coordinate with production teams to ensure feasibility and quality of designs, ensuring smooth transition from concept to finished product.
Collaborate with marketing and sales departments to tailor designs for target audiences and support promotional initiatives.
Oversee design project timelines and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed within deadlines and budget constraints.
Conduct research on current and emerging textile trends, fabrics, and technologies to continuously innovate design offerings.
Evaluate and approve design prototypes and samples, providing constructive feedback and necessary revisions.
Train and mentor design team members to enhance their skills and productivity.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of design processes, project progress, and team performance metrics.
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and industry regulations throughout the design process.
