Homeroom Teacher – Grade 2

KN Academy (International Campus), located in Malir Cantt, Karachi, is inviting applications for a dedicated and passionate Homeroom Teacher for Grade 2. This role requires a professional with a strong background in primary education, capable of delivering engaging lessons and managing a classroom effectively. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment aligned with the Cambridge education system, ensuring that young learners develop both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to Grade 2 students, following the assigned curriculum.
- Teach core subjects with a focus on ensuring students’ conceptual understanding.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and academic reports to support student learning.
- Monitor and evaluate students’ academic progress and overall development regularly.
- Maintain classroom discipline and promote positive learning behaviors among students.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns.
- Keep accurate records of student attendance and academic performance.
- Participate actively in school meetings, training sessions, and both curricular and co-curricular activities.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Relevant experience teaching primary-level students, with a preference for Grade 2.
- Strong knowledge of primary teaching methodologies and effective classroom management techniques.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum is preferred but not mandatory.
