We are looking for dynamic talent for the position of Graphic Designer for one of our US-based Partners.
Responsibilities:
- Process customer-submitted files and take necessary actions to fix identified issues without affecting the quality, purpose, and usability of products
- Review and make adjustments as necessary to artwork file size, either by reducing (cropping) or enlarging by reproducing certain parts of the artwork file
- Review the artwork file resolution and deem as acceptable for printing. Take necessary next steps to fix resolution issues
- Review elements in the artwork file and ensure that they will be printed as intended (correctly cut, appear in the correct area of the printout, follow the correct imposition, etc.)
- Review color mode and convert to the prescribed CMYK values
- Ensure that the file for printing is in the correct final format
- Preflight all artwork files to quality check and identify possible concerns and apply fixes
- Download and save/upload the correct file to the corresponding items ordered
- Correctly articulate all artwork file issues in all communication with internal and external customers
- Follow all steps in escalating artwork file issues to the respective PP team leader
Required:
- Graduation in a relevant field.
- 1 year as a designer or proofer with experience in using the following desktop publishing software: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, Corel Draw
- Detail oriented
- With excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Highly creative, must be able to think outside the box when applying fixes without sacrificing quality
- Has demonstrated a sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Note: This is a work from home job & the timing of this job is from 7 pm till 4 am Monday to Friday
