One of our clients based in the US is looking for a Junior Bookkeeping Executive  will have expertise and technical knowledge of all areas impacting accounting. Must be excellent with numbers and spreadsheets, self- motivated, strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.

The primary responsibility of the desired candidate will be to help manage the operations of the Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable department. As well as assist with the accountants’ preparation of month-end closing and compilation of financial information and analyses.

The Junior Bookkeeper will be expected to work effectively and diligently cross functionally to ensure the achievement of the Company’s objectives in a resourceful and effective way.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable.
  • Accounts Payable.
  • Prepare Monthly A/R Sales Invoicing & A/P Purchase Statements.
  • Reconcile Bank and Credit Card Accounts.
  • Help prepare Financial Reports for End of Year Tax Filing.
  • Maintain chart of accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting monthly
  • transactions and journal entries.
  • Work with Accounts Receivable Manager and Customers to ensure proper andtimely collections of receivables and memo consignments billing and status.
  • Work with Accounts Payable Manager and Vendors to ensure that invoices are correctly posted and provide monthly vendor payment/check run list to Partners for accounts payable
  • Insert entries in accounting / bookkeeping softwires such as quick book etc.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in accounting
  • US based accounting background is a must
  • Minimum of 2+ years accounting experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented and ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Must be able to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work calmly and flexibly to respond to multiple competing business priorities
  • Self-motivated, detail and results oriented, focused and hard working
  • Good record keeping and organization skills
  • Candidate must be familiar with QuickBooks, tally and other accounting softwires

Note:

Job Timings; 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM (Mon to Fri)

The candidate must be fluent in speaking English
