Horticulture Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled and committed Horticulture Supervisor to manage and enhance landscaped areas, green spaces, parks, lawns, and plantation activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in horticulture and landscaping, preferably within a housing society environment. This role requires overseeing daily maintenance tasks, supervising staff, and ensuring the health and aesthetic appeal of all plantings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily horticulture, gardening, landscaping, and plantation operations.
- Manage the upkeep of parks, lawns, green belts, flower beds, and other landscaped zones.
- Ensure proper watering, pruning, trimming, fertilization, and pest control measures are implemented.
- Lead and coordinate gardeners and horticulture staff to maintain high work standards.
- Monitor the health, growth, and condition of plants, trees, shrubs, and seasonal flowers.
- Plan and oversee plantation activities aimed at enhancing the overall appearance of the project.
- Ensure correct use and maintenance of gardening tools, equipment, and materials.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to schedule landscaping improvements and maintenance.
- Assess manpower needs and ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks.
- Maintain a clean, green, and visually appealing environment throughout the designated areas.

Required Qualifications:
- Relevant educational background in Horticulture, Agriculture, Landscaping, or a related discipline is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in horticulture, landscaping, or gardening supervision.
- Practical knowledge of plant care, irrigation systems, fertilizers, and pest control techniques.
- Proven experience in supervising gardening teams and managing horticultural activities.
- Strong communication, coordination, and team leadership skills.
- Ability to effectively plan, organize, and monitor daily maintenance operations.
