We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of Hotel Croydon. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction, managing staff effectively, and driving profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Provide strong leadership to the hotel team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Set clear expectations and goals for staff members and lead by example.

  • Guest Satisfaction: Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by maintaining high standards of service throughout all departments. Address guest concerns and feedback promptly and effectively to uphold the hotel's reputation for excellence.

  • Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and administration. Implement efficient processes and procedures to optimize operations and enhance guest experience.

  • Financial Management: Develop and manage the hotel budget, ensuring revenue targets are met or exceeded while controlling costs and expenses. Analyze financial performance regularly and take corrective actions as needed.

  • Sales and Marketing: Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to drive revenue growth and increase occupancy rates. Develop and implement strategies to attract new guests and retain existing clientele.

  • Staff Training and Development: Recruit, train, and motivate staff members to deliver exceptional service and achieve performance targets. Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and hotel policies. Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and employees by implementing appropriate safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in hotel management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences.
  • Solid understanding of hotel operations, including revenue management, sales, and marketing.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
