House Keeping Supervisor

The Housekeeping Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping team within a hospital setting, ensuring that all assigned areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role requires close monitoring of cleaning activities, adherence to infection control policies, and prompt resolution of any complaints related to housekeeping services. The supervisor will also manage staff scheduling and attendance, while supporting patient care through effective housekeeping practices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, primarily cleaners.
- Ensure all assigned hospital areas, including rooms and wards, are clean, tidy, and compliant with established standards.
- Enforce adherence to infection control policies and procedures within housekeeping operations.
- Organize shift schedules, assign duties according to the duty roster, and maintain accurate attendance records.
- Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas and submit compliance reports to the housekeeping officer.
- Investigate and address complaints related to housekeeping services and equipment, implementing corrective measures as needed.
- Provide housekeeping support that contributes to overall patient care and comfort.

Required Qualifications:
- A graduate degree with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience, including at least one year in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals, and the use of housekeeping materials and equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage staff and interact with hospital personnel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes.
