Hasan Suleman Memorial Hospital (HSMH), a 312-bed facility under development in Malir, Karachi, is preparing to open its doors in December 2026. Committed to delivering safe, high-quality, accessible, and patient-centered healthcare, HSMH is currently looking for an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor. This role is vital to maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors by overseeing daily housekeeping operations and ensuring strict adherence to infection prevention and patient safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise housekeeping staff and manage daily cleaning activities across the hospital.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in patient rooms, wards, corridors, offices, and other hospital areas.
- Monitor staff attendance, prepare duty rosters, and evaluate performance to ensure operational efficiency.
- Enforce compliance with Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) protocols to uphold patient safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure housekeeping standards are consistently met.
- Oversee the proper use and storage of cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments to promptly address housekeeping concerns and implement corrective measures.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or a relevant qualification in a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience specifically in hospital housekeeping management is required.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
- Experience in a healthcare setting is highly valued to understand the unique requirements of hospital hygiene and safety.
- The position requires in-person attendance at the hospital located at Plot #89, Deh Khanto, Taluka Ibrahim Hyderi, District Malir, Karachi.
