Accounts officer

HPM Textiles Pvt Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and diligent Accounts Officer to join our finance team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or professionals with up to one year of experience in accounting or finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards. A strong foundation in accounting principles and proficiency in financial reporting and software tools are essential for success in this position. The Accounts Officer will handle tasks such as accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll processing, and budgeting. Although this role does not involve team management, it requires excellent organizational skills, high accuracy, and integrity in handling financial data. The position offers an opportunity to grow professionally within the finance department of a dynamic textile company, contributing significantly to the companys financial health and operational success.
Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions to ensure timely processing and payments.
Perform general ledger management tasks including journal entries, account reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.
Reconcile bank statements regularly to verify and correct discrepancies in financial data.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support financial planning and decision making.
Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.
Utilize accounting software and MS Excel proficiently to manage and analyze financial data.
Ensure high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in all accounting documentation and reporting.
Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and support audit processes.
Maintain confidentiality and security of financial information at all times.
Continuously update knowledge on accounting regulations and best practices to improve financial processes.
