Integrated Social Services Program (ISSP) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization committed to empowering communities and improving lives through inclusive, sustainable, and rights-based development interventions in Pakistan.

Job Purpose

The HR Assistant will support the effective implementation of ISSP’s human resource functions by assisting in recruitment, personnel administration, record management, and compliance with organizational HR policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment processes, including vacancy announcements, CV longlisting/shortlisting, interview coordination, etc.
  • Maintain and update employee personal files (physical and electronic).
  • Assist in staff onboarding and exit processes.
  • Support attendance, leave, and payroll documentation.
  • Ensure HR documentation complies with organizational policies, SOPs, and labour laws.
  • Assist in performance management and staff development records.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resource Management.
  • 1 – 2 years of relevant experience (NGO experience will be an asset).
  • Basic understanding of HR functions and Pakistan labour laws.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and email correspondence.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
