Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Lead the full recruitment cycle for teaching, academic leadership, administrative, and management roles. Develop and maintain effective recruitment channels and a strong talent pipeline for critical positions. Establish structured screening, interviewing, and candidate assessment procedures to improve recruitment quality and efficiency across campuses. Create comprehensive job descriptions and competency frameworks, and maintain recruitment dashboards tracking vacancies, hiring timelines, candidate quality, and retention.

Performance Management: Design and implement a structured Performance Management System tailored for academic, administrative, and management staff. Set measurable KPIs, conduct probation reviews, annual appraisals, and performance improvement plans. Collaborate with campus leadership to address underperformance and ensure promotions, increments, and recognition are based on objective performance criteria.

HR Policies & Systems: Review, develop, and standardize HR policies, SOPs, and documentation related to attendance, leave, discipline, grievances, promotions, transfers, and separations. Ensure consistent policy implementation across all campuses, maintain accurate and confidential employee records, and develop HR dashboards and reports for senior leadership.

Employee Relations & Organisational Culture: Foster a professional, respectful, and performance-driven workplace culture. Establish effective grievance and disciplinary procedures, conduct investigations when necessary, and support management in resolving workplace conflicts fairly. Enhance communication between Head Office, campus management, and employees, while developing initiatives to boost employee engagement, morale, and retention.

Training & Development: Identify organizational and individual training needs and develop annual training and professional development plans. Coordinate leadership development programs for principals, coordinators, and emerging leaders. Collaborate with academic leadership on teacher development and capacity building, and create succession plans for strategically important roles.

Compensation, Benefits & Workforce Planning: Review salary structures and recommend adjustments based on responsibility, performance, and market trends. Support annual increments and promotions, analyze turnover, absenteeism, staffing ratios, and manpower needs. Develop workforce plans aligned with campus and organizational growth, and identify opportunities to enhance HR efficiency without compromising quality.

Compliance & Safeguarding: Ensure all HR practices comply with relevant employment laws and organizational policies. Maintain proper documentation for contracts, disciplinary actions, and separations. Support background and reference verification processes and uphold child-safeguarding standards appropriate for an educational environment.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, Organisational Psychology, or a related field is essential. Candidates should have 7 to 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including managerial or strategic roles. Experience in large educational institutions, multi-branch organizations, or sizable service-sector companies is highly desirable. Strong expertise in recruitment, performance management, employee relations, HR policies, and organizational development is required. Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills are necessary, along with proficiency in HR analytics, reporting, and HR information systems. The ability to handle sensitive employee matters professionally and confidentially is critical.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Professional HR certification will be considered an advantage. The ideal candidate is analytical, systems-oriented, and execution-focused, capable of identifying gaps in existing HR practices and transforming them into clear policies and measurable systems. Confidence in collaborating with senior leadership while building credibility with campus heads, teachers, and administrative staff is essential.

Additional Details

The position is based in Karachi with a market-competitive salary. The working schedule is Monday to Saturday, with alternate Saturdays off, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. This is an in-person role requiring presence at the workplace.
