HR Generalist

SCADA Industries (Pvt.) Ltd., located in Korangi Industrial Area, Karachi, is seeking a dedicated HR Generalist to oversee daily HR functions and support the entire employee lifecycle. This full-time role operates Monday through Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting, and will be responsible for managing recruitment, employee documentation, attendance and leave management, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, employee relations, and general HR administration.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, probation evaluations, confirmations, transfers, and exit formalities.
- Conduct talent acquisition activities such as job postings, CV screening, candidate shortlisting, interviews, assessments, and selection.
- Prepare and maintain employment contracts, offer letters, appointment letters, confirmation letters, warning letters, and other HR documentation.
- Maintain accurate employee personal files, HR records, and databases.
- Oversee attendance, leave, overtime, and employee records, coordinating with relevant departments for payroll processing.
- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs, including attendance, overtime, deductions, advances, and other HR-related adjustments.
- Handle statutory compliance matters related to EOBI, SESSI, and other government requirements, ensuring proper record-keeping.
- Address employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and workplace issues in collaboration with management.
- Support employee engagement and retention initiatives to foster a professional and positive work environment.
- Prepare HR reports, summaries, and workforce data for management review.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are communicated effectively and adhered to throughout the organization.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information and HR-related matters.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant HR Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of HR operations and employee lifecycle management.
- Good knowledge of Pakistan labor laws and statutory requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple HR responsibilities independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF/nested IF, SUMIF/COUNTIF, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, Sorting, and Filtering.
- Basic skills in HR data analysis and reporting.
