Maxobiz is a dynamic technology and digital solutions company serving clients across more than 30 countries in various industries. We specialize in AI-powered solutions and integrations, ERP and CRM systems, business process automation (RPA), custom software development, web and app development, UI/UX design and product strategy, as well as SEO and digital growth support. We are currently seeking an HR Intern to assist with daily human resources operations, focusing primarily on recruitment, employee records, HR documentation, attendance and leave management, HRMS, performance reporting, and compliance documentation. This internship offers practical exposure to end-to-end HR functions in a professional environment, requiring a high level of confidentiality, accuracy, and discretion when handling sensitive information.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Interview Coordination: Support recruitment efforts by posting job openings, screening resumes, shortlisting candidates, scheduling interviews, coordinating with candidates and internal teams, and maintaining recruitment records. Assist the HR Manager in conducting and documenting interviews as needed.
Employee Records & HR Documentation: Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HR databases. Organize and preserve HR documents, letters, forms, and other employment-related paperwork to ensure easy accessibility and compliance with internal processes and audits.
Labor Law Compliance & HR Policies: Assist in maintaining documentation required for compliance with Pakistan’s labor laws and company policies. Support the HR Manager in reviewing records related to employment, attendance, leave, disciplinary actions, and other HR procedures while ensuring confidentiality.
Attendance & Leave Management: Monitor employee attendance records and assist in managing leave requests, approvals, and balances. Coordinate with employees and managers to resolve attendance and leave-related matters and ensure accurate data entry in the HRMS.
HRMS & HR Operations: Help maintain employee data, attendance, leave, and other HR records within the HRMS. Perform routine data entry, updates, verification, and support daily HR operational tasks, reporting discrepancies to the HR Manager.
Performance Management & Reporting: Assist in preparing performance reports on a daily and weekly basis. Collect, organize, and verify HR-related data for management reporting, summaries, and presentations.
Employee Support & HR Coordination: Respond professionally to routine employee queries regarding HR policies, procedures, attendance, leave, and documentation under guidance. Coordinate with departments to facilitate HR processes and support HR initiatives, training sessions, and company events.
Confidentiality, Documentation & General HR Support: Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive HR and company information. Handle confidential documents responsibly and perform other HR-related duties as assigned by the HR Manager.
Required Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related field is required. Fresh graduates with relevant academic knowledge and a genuine interest in HR are encouraged to apply. Candidates should have at least three months of experience in an HR intern or similar role, with a solid understanding of core HR functions such as recruitment, employee records, attendance, leave management, employee relations, and HR operations. Knowledge of labor laws and employment compliance in Pakistan is essential. Familiarity with HR documentation and HRMS software is advantageous.
Strong skills in CV screening and candidate evaluation, excellent written and verbal English communication, and effective interpersonal and coordination abilities are necessary. Attention to detail, organizational skills, time management, professionalism, discretion, and the ability to work independently while seeking guidance when needed are critical for success in this role. A willingness to learn and develop practical HR expertise through hands-on experience is highly valued.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
This is a three-month onsite internship based in Gulberg 3, Lahore, with office hours from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. The position offers a monthly stipend of PKR 30,000. Candidates should be proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and comfortable working onsite during the specified hours. Familiarity with AI tools and basic knowledge of HR processes such as recruitment, attendance, and leave management will be considered a plus.
