- Determining requirements and studying design briefs
- Defining budget constraints and schedule projects
- Conceptualizing the visuals on the basis of requirements
- Presenting ideas and preparing rough drafts
- Testing graphics designs across different media
- Working with creative director and copywriters to craft final design
- Amending designs after getting feedback
- Making sure that the final layouts and graphics are visually attractive
- A solid portfolio of graphic designs or illustrations
