We are looking for seasoned React Native developers that have the experience and passion of building cross platform mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms. You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.
Our client is a digital banking and marketplace platform provider based in Hong Kong and Singapore. You will have the opportunity to work with an international team and build the next generation of banking platforms.
Responsibilities
- Build pixel-perfect, seamless UIs across both mobile platforms.
- Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
- Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
- Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
- Develop integrations with third party services through the use of websockets and REST APIs.
- Be involved and participate in the entire software development cycle from development to the eventual roll out of the application to users.
Qualifications
- Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science/IT with 5+ years of industry experience
- Strong knowledge and experience in JavaScript (and TypeScript) including ES6+ syntax.
- Strong knowledge and at least 3+ years of experience in React Native framework
- Must have published at least 1 React Native mobile application to Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Experience in developing integrations with external services using REST APIs and websockets.
- Knowledge of UI/UX designs and wireframes
- Experience and understanding of version control systems like Git etc.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English.
