Position Name: Turner – Machine Shop

Job Type: Yearly Contractual (HRSG)

Description:

Set up and operate lathe machine, milling machine, drilling machine etc to machine parts as
per specifications.
Read technical drawings, and specifications to determine the machining process.
Select and install appropriate cutting tools and attachments for each job.
Adjust machine settings to achieve desired accuracy and quality.
Perform regular inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments such as micro meters (Inside/Outside), calipers, and dial & bore gauges.
Identify and correct any defects or errors in the machining process.
Perform routine maintenance on lathes and other turning equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines to minimize downtime.
Keep machines and work area clean and organized.

Qualification Required:
At least Matric / Intermediate or DAE in Mechanical

Experience:
05 Years of proven hands-on experience as a Turner or Machinist.
