Our client, a leading Oil & Gas public sector company based in Karachi is looking for a dedicated, experienced and high-caliber skilled professional for the following position:
Internal Auditor
Job Profile / Specifications
- Excellent Communication skills / Report writing skills.
- In depth understanding of Internal Controls framework, Risk Management, and Governance through relevant work experience.
- Well versed and in-depth knowledge and skills of Internal Auditing, Regulatory Laws, Accounting framework and IFRS, and current audit techniques.
- Well versed with Internal Audit Functions and its activities including Audit Planning, Field Work and Drafting of Audit Report for Audit Projects.
- Understanding of ERP system (such as SAP).
- Following will be given preference / added advantage:
- Experience of preparing and implementing Corporate Policies and Standard operating procedures and Internal Audit Manual.
- Experience of handling whistle blowing program.
- Understanding of analytical applications.
- Experience of Performance, Process and Technical audits in Oil and Gas Industry.
- Experience of legal and compliance audits including investigations, and inquiries.
Qualification and Experience
Part-qualified Chartered Accountant or qualified ACCA / CIMA / ICMA / MBA with at least 6 years of relevant work experience. Additional qualification such as CIA / CISA and work experience with E&P industry would be preferred.
