Qualification:
- High School Diploma
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger endorsement.
- Clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a bus driver (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically able to sit for long periods and assist passengers as needed.
Experience:
- Minimum 5-6 years of relevant experience
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with endorsement for operating large vehicles.
- Proven experience driving armored vehicles or similar.
- Strong knowledge of defensive driving techniques and security protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of physical and mental stamina.
- Familiarity with traffic laws and local routes.
- Experience handling emergency situations and assisting passengers with special needs is a plus.
- Prior experience in customer service or public transportation is desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Follow RDMC Safety rules and regulations rigorously.
- Operates assigned vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.
- Attend safety and other trainings.
- Attend pre-shift safety meetings on a regular basis.
- Maintain defensive driving.
- Operate light vehicles, tankers, and other trucks/devices as needed.
- Moving miscellaneous objects in the camp from one place to another.
- Provide logistic support to the maintenance department & Drill Site.
- Transport outgoing & incoming passengers on a daily basis.
- Assists passengers in and out of the vehicle.
- Pre-Vehicle Inspection Forms earlier to driving.
- Present a safety briefing to passengers prior to each trip departure.
- Keep the assigned vehicle(s) clean inside and outside.
- Transport vehicles to the workshop for maintenance checks.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks on assigned vehicle(s) as required.
- Responds immediately to accidents or medical emergencies by notifying emergency response providers and rendering First Aid until emergency personnel arrive.
- Serves as a positive role model while providing transportation service.
