HRSI is looking for Manager Risk Analytics & MIS for one of its client in banking industry.

Grade: Assistant Vice President level

Qualification: Minimum Graduate

Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience required in Risk Analytics, System & Data management.

Location: Karachi

Job Purpose

  • To mitigate the Risk by analyzing various attributes of consumer portfolio.
  • In-depth analytical reports for tracking the secured and unsecured consumer portfolio performance.
  • Providing portfolio Insight which is very vital for management in decision making and mitigating Risk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and set underwriting policies, risk acceptance criteria, risk management strategies, approval and verification processes in line with the bank's overall business strategy.
  • Monitor and manage portfolio performance through active portfolio management tools like Collections and Credit Indicator Reports.
  • Recommend and implement policy change for existing and new products based on transactional behavior and feedback from front-end team & portfolio behaviors.
  • Ensure adherence to Internal Risk Management Guidelines and External Regulatory Requirements by other units involved in credit processing and execution.
  • Review and analyze the portfolio performance through various MIS reports by setting up minimum standards to manage performance of individual credit transaction and entire portfolio.
  • Maintain a balance between managing credit risk and ensuring constant growth of the portfolio.
  • Manage credit risk in segment portfolio through each step of the credit process and to recommend proactive measures in the underwriting standards, policies, and verification processes.
  • Provide updates on portfolio performance at regular intervals.
  • Have full knowledge of the market and regulatory environment.
  • Stay abreast with the changes in the market dynamics, competitor activities and accordingly adjust policies based on proper and complete analysis.
  • Make timely reports on any change in the overall market conditions that may significantly have an adverse effect on the portfolio / business.
  • Manage system parameters of all products within segment.
  • Participate in new product development process to give inputs and develop credit policy for the new product.
