This role involves leading and coordinating workplace health, safety, and environmental (HSE) initiatives to ensure a safe and compliant work environment. The successful candidate will investigate incidents, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. They will also develop and deliver training programs, conduct safety meetings, and maintain emergency response plans. Collaboration with regulatory bodies and adherence to relevant laws and standards are essential aspects of this position.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate investigations of workplace incidents to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit detailed incident reports, ensuring thorough documentation and follow-up.
- Track and analyze incident trends to proactively prevent future occurrences.
- Develop and deliver HSE training programs focused on safety, emergency response, and environmental protection.
- Conduct regular safety and toolbox meetings to address ongoing HSE concerns and promote awareness.
- Foster a safety-conscious culture by encouraging employee participation in HSE initiatives.
- Develop, maintain, and update emergency response plans, including evacuation and fire safety protocols.
- Organize and conduct drills to test the effectiveness of emergency response procedures and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure the availability and proper functioning of emergency equipment at all times.
- Stay informed about current HSE laws and regulations, ensuring company compliance.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies during inspections and audits, preparing and submitting all required reports.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 3 to 4 years of experience in HSE management, preferably within the logistics and warehouse industry.
- Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with employees at all levels and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Relevant professional certification in occupational health and safety is considered a plus.
- Experience in conducting safety training and emergency response drills is highly valued.
