Hub Officer

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our logistics and customs clearance team, focusing on import operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing import documentation, verifying accounts, and maintaining accurate records. This role involves direct interaction with physical shipments and close coordination with customs authorities to ensure smooth and compliant import clearance processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Submit Import Manifests to customs authorities accurately and within required timelines.
- Manage Import Bill of Lading and Vessel Clearance procedures efficiently.
- Maintain and verify import data to ensure all information is properly recorded.
- Check the accuracy of B/F (Bill of Freight) and B/C (Bill of Charges) accounts.
- Attach duty slips to shipments in compliance with customs regulations.
- Scan inbound shipments, including those with exceptions or damages, to ensure proper documentation.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports, data files, and records related to import activities.
- Perform physical tasks such as examining shipments, loading, and driving as needed to support shipment handling.
- Handle detention orders and related administrative responsibilities.

Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in import documentation and customs clearance procedures.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in managing data and records.
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to shipment examination and loading.
- Good understanding of customs regulations and import processes.
- Strong skills in record keeping and report preparation.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Prior experience in a similar role within logistics or freight forwarding is highly desirable.
- The position offers a monthly salary of Rs35,000.00.
- The role requires in-person attendance, allowing for hands-on involvement with shipment operations.
