Human Capital HR Solutions is hiring for one of our Prestigious Clients in Leather Sector.
Position: Head of Department- Import & Export
Experience: 5 years of relevant experience (PSW / WEBOC)
Education: MBA preferably in supply chain Certificate in PIFFA & FIATA will be an added advantage
Location: Lalazar MT Khan Road, Karachi
Key Job Responsibilities:
Import
- Dealing with suppliers on rates payment and delivery terms.
- Dealing with the bank on LC, Advanced, and Dap payments documents
- Negotiating with forwarders for the best rate.
- Finding the best rate with the fastest route for importing.
- Follow up with suppliers on materials and forwarders for shipments.
- Making reports of all coming materials on a weekly basis.
- Coordinating with concerned departments for smooth import
- Arranging custom clearance.
- Direct dealing with the customs department.
Export
- Maintaining orders with coordination of the sales team.
- Follow up production plans with planning for dispatching.
- Making neat and clean documents for export.
- Handling all air/sea export documentation.
- Follow up on payments from customers and helping the accounts team on this.
- Follow up on rebates
- Making reports on a weekly basis
- Making EE statement on the end of FCY.
- Updating records for custom for audit purposes
