Job Description of
- Supervise the accounts and finances of the group. Plan, implement and supervise the activities of the department.
- Ascertain the extent to which the company’s assets are accounted for and safeguarded from losses.
- Recommend corrective actions where required.
- Manage a system under which company’s documents relating to the accounting and financial controls are properly maintained in compliance with the company’s policies, systems and procedures.
- Ensure prevention of financial frauds and eliminate such conditions which may induce fraudulent actions.
Skills:
- Chartered Accountant with at least 4 years of post qualification experience or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Ability to process a variety of financial transactions in a modern financial computer system.
- Must be able to use spreadsheets, word processing and financial software; knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.
- Must possess ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Must possess ability to maintain various accounting subsidiary records and coordinate activities with other employees and auditors.
