- Assists in overall quality and safety of products.
- Assists in ensuring that products meet standards.
- Assists in developing and review quality and safety policies and manage audits.
- Assists in training quality assurance employees and oversee production processes.
- Assists in liaison with other supervisors and inspect facilities for compliance with standards, determining methods to resolve any issues that arise.
- Assists to prepare reports on food quality status to relay to owners and upper-level management and keep records of all tests and inspections that have been conducted.
- Assists in updating food safety standards that are customary within the food industry and mandated by government regulations.
- Assists in implementation of Health, Hygiene and Safety guidelines.
