Technical Reporting to: Regional Health Coordinator

Responsibilities:

1)     Dispensing and Pharmacy Management

·       Dispense medicines as prescribed by the doctor and guide patients on dosage, timing etc.

·       Maintain medicines inventory, stock, dispensing, and requisition records accurately.

·       Initiate requisitions for replenishment of medicines and consumables in a timely manner.

·       Ensure safe storage conditions and organization of pharmacy shelves

·       Verifying receipt of new supplies and medicines

·       Check and remove outdated/expired medicines and supplies and proper recording in register

2)     Maintenance and update records including;

·       Patient profiles for data reporting and future interventions

·       Compile and share medicine utilization and dispensing data for monthly CHC reports.

·       Coordinate with Lab Technician for integrated reporting of diagnostic and pharmacy data

3)     Assist the doctor in OPD, medical camps, seminars, vaccination drives and community awareness sessions when and where required.

4)     Maintain cleanliness and safety of CHC, all equipment and supplies as per the standard protocols, rules and regulations.

5)     Responsible for patient registration, issuance of receipt and medicines to patients and manage patient flow to ensure efficient service.

6)     Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.

7)     Prepares reports for doctor by collecting and summarizing information.

8)     Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

Qualification and Experience:

·        Dispenser Diploma from HEC recognized medical faculty, with least two years of relevant working experience.

·        Previous work experience of NGO/development sector health programs.

Skill Set:

·        Good knowledge of quality standards and quality controls related to medical practice.

·        Strong interpersonal and communication skills

·        Excellent communication and teamwork skills

·        Good record-keeping and reporting skills.
