The Human Resources Generalist role is a full-time, on-site position based in Rawalpindi. This role is responsible for supporting daily HR operations, including administering HR policies, maintaining employee records, and managing recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes. The HR Generalist will also assist with employee benefits administration, leave management, and ensure compliance with local labor laws and company standards. Handling employee inquiries, supporting performance management cycles, coordinating training sessions, and promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture are key aspects of this position.
The HR Generalist will work closely with management and team leads to ensure consistent application of HR practices and contribute to ongoing HR process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and enforce HR policies and procedures in alignment with organizational goals and legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate employee records and manage HR documentation.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
- Facilitate employee offboarding processes efficiently and professionally.
- Manage employee benefits administration, including enrollment, updates, and communication.
- Oversee leave management and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Address employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and workplace concerns with confidentiality and fairness.
- Support performance management cycles by coordinating reviews and feedback processes.
- Organize training programs and initiatives to promote employee development.
- Collaborate with management and team leads to maintain consistent HR practices and suggest process improvements.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Solid foundation in Human Resources with experience in generalist or similar HR roles.
- Ability to develop, implement, and interpret HR policies that comply with legal standards and organizational objectives.
- Knowledge of employee benefits and benefits administration, including enrollment and communication.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, with a commitment to confidentiality and fairness.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS or HR management software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
- HR certifications are considered an advantage.
- Experience or understanding of healthcare or medical billing environments is a plus.
