Human Resources Manager

Our client is a reputable engineering consultancy specializing in multi-utility infrastructure design across electric, gas, and water networks. They are seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee HR operations and employee relations across their Islamabad and Karachi offices. This role involves managing consistent people management practices, supporting recruitment efforts, and collaborating closely with managers to fulfill hiring needs. The HR Manager will report directly to the Head of the HR Department and play a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with HR policies.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead daily HR operations for the Islamabad office, ensuring all HR processes are professional, consistent, and efficiently managed.
- Manage the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation periods, employee relations, employment changes, and offboarding procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations issues, performance management, attendance, conduct, and other people management concerns.
- Assist in the implementation and upkeep of HR policies, procedures, compliance measures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with department heads to support resource planning, workforce requirements, employee engagement, and team development initiatives.
- Support recruitment activities by sourcing candidates, screening applications, coordinating interviews, and assisting hiring managers throughout the selection process.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation in line with internal standards and compliance requirements.
- Promote employee development, engagement, retention, and contribute to workplace culture enhancement initiatives.
- Work closely with the Head of HR on international HR projects and initiatives.

Required Qualifications

- 5 to 7 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a fast-growing organization or engineering sector.
- Proven expertise in HR operations, employee relations, and providing managerial support on people-related matters.
- Comprehensive experience managing the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation, performance management, attendance, conduct, and offboarding.
- Hands-on experience supporting recruitment processes, including candidate sourcing and interviewing.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, compliance, documentation, and adherence to best-practice HR processes.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with employees from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds across global teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple HR priorities in a dynamic business environment.
- Proficiency in English at a high level.
