The organisation, with over 23 years of history, is headquartered in London and maintains offices in Cyprus and Islamabad. This role is based in the F-11 office in Islamabad and involves supporting a diverse, multicultural team across all three locations. The ideal candidate will be a confident, energetic HR professional passionate about people, skilled in engaging senior candidates, and eager to advance their career within a global organisation. The working hours align with UK business hours, Monday to Friday, 12:30–21:30 PKT.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end recruitment across the UK, Cyprus, and Islamabad, including workforce planning, proactive headhunting, structured interviewing, and presenting the organisation attractively to top-tier talent.
- Manage onboarding processes fully compliant with local employment laws and regulatory requirements, including right-to-work checks, references, identity verification, and financial services screening.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines and a strong employer brand, while reporting on recruitment metrics such as time to hire, cost per hire, and quality of hire.
- Oversee generalist HR functions including contract management, probation, term changes, and employee exits across all locations.
- Handle complex HR matters such as investigations, disciplinary and grievance procedures, performance management, absence, and difficult conversations with fairness and legal compliance.
- Develop, update, and align HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks across the UK, Cyprus, and Pakistan offices.
- Coordinate payroll inputs, benefits administration, and statutory registrations, including EOBI contributions for Islamabad staff.
- Lead performance review cycles and coordinate training and development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate, confidential HR records and produce clear management information.
- Promote employee engagement, wellbeing, and company culture, including organising social events.
- Ensure HR practices comply with employment laws and regulations relevant to each country, including UK Equality Act 2010, UK GDPR, Cypriot and EU requirements, and Pakistani employment law such as the Protection against Harassment of Women at the Workplace Act 2010.
- Apply equality, inclusion, safer recruitment, and data protection standards throughout HR activities.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of five years’ HR experience with substantial hands-on talent acquisition responsibility.
- Demonstrated strength of character and sound judgment in managing difficult HR issues firmly and fairly.
- Excellent spoken and written English, with confidence in headhunting, interviewing senior candidates, and liaising with UK-based leadership.
- Proven ability to effectively promote an organisation to high-calibre candidates.
- Experience in compliant onboarding and pre-employment screening with meticulous attention to detail.
- Solid working knowledge of Pakistani employment law and HR compliance.
- High level of discretion handling confidential information.
- Strong organisational and IT skills, including proficiency with HR systems, applicant tracking systems, and LinkedIn sourcing.
- Positive, energetic, and solutions-focused mindset with cultural intelligence to thrive in a multicultural environment.
- Availability to work full-time from the Islamabad office during UK-aligned hours.
- A degree in HR, business, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience with UK HR or working knowledge of UK employment law is advantageous; structured support and mentoring will be provided to develop this expertise.
- Familiarity with Cyprus or EU employment practices is desirable.
- CIPD qualification and membership (Level 5 or above) is preferred; the organisation offers full funding for CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management if not yet qualified.
- Background in financial services, FinTech, or regulated sectors is a plus.

The role offers a competitive salary, employer contributions to the EOBI pension scheme, paid annual, sick, and casual leave, and a modern office environment in F-11 with excellent facilities. Employees benefit from a 20% discount at the rooftop restaurant and lounge, regular social events, and direct support from senior leadership and experienced HR colleagues. This position provides genuine international exposure across three countries.

Applications are accepted via LinkedIn with a CV only; personal details such as photographs, date of birth, marital status, CNIC, or home address are not required. The selection process includes a face-to-face interview in Islamabad and an online interview with senior leadership, both conducted in English.
