About the Job:
Work with the tech lead to implement and deploy Web applications including backend, frontend, databases, and any other supporting services. The role will be supported by the tech lead and head of product management.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Work with implementation on NodeJS / Express / Mongo backend for CRUD RESTful APIs
Work with Web frontend development
Utilize NestJS, NextJS, WebPack, and other frameworks as needed
Communicate with stake holders, head of engineering, tech lead, Project & Product management; as well as QA and DevOps
Apply best practices for both frontend and backend Web development
Inspire a culture of coaching, learning, and improvement in the team
Qualifications and Skills
Hands on with MERN stack development
Expertise of NodeJS and Asynchronous code with event loop
Good working knowledge of both SQL (RDBMS) and NoSQL database systems
Good communication and excellent documentation skills
Practical understanding of SOLID principles
Good knowledge of design patterns, especially MVC on NestJS
Education Requirement:
No formal education is required, but a bachelor’s in computer science is a plus
