About the Job:
Work with and lead the cross functional team of developers for mostly server side and Android application development but also Web frontend development. The role will be supported by the head of engineering and head of product management.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Lead implementation on NodeJS / Express / Mongo backend for CRUD RESTful APIs
- Provide support for Android and Web development
- Communicate with stake holders, Project & Product management; as well as QA and DevOps
- Apply best practices for each platform and tech team in general
- Inspire a culture of coaching, learning, and improvement in the team
Qualifications and Skills
- Hands on with MERN stack development
- Expertise of NodeJS and Asynchronous code with event loop
- Good working knowledge of both SQL (RDBMS) and NoSQL database systems
- Some understanding of Android application development
- Good communication and excellent documentation skills
- Practical understanding of SOLID principles
- Good knowledge of design patterns
Education Requirement: No formal education is required, but a bachelor’s in computer science is a plus
