This position does not involve managing a team but requires close collaboration with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. The Cook is responsible for efficiently preparing various dishes and maintaining hygiene standards throughout the food preparation process. The role demands a proactive approach to kitchen safety and compliance with organizational guidelines.
Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of dishes including cooking, baking, and barbeque items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food preparation activities comply with food safety and sanitation regulations.
Apply Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to guarantee the quality and safety of food products.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
Monitor ingredient stocks and report shortages to the supervisor to ensure continuous kitchen operations.
Manage cooking schedules to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation.
Inspect raw materials and finished products to maintain high quality standards.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to optimize workflow and maintain a safe working environment.
Follow company policies and procedures related to food handling and kitchen safety.
Keep records of food preparation processes and activities as required.
