HVAC Technician

An HVAC Technician specializes in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves diagnosing and resolving equipment issues, performing routine maintenance, and handling emergency repairs efficiently. The technician ensures that all work complies with local HVAC codes and standards, contributing to optimal air quality and system performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Removing old HVAC systems and safely disposing of or recycling components
- Installing new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units according to specifications
- Conducting routine maintenance to prevent system failures and extend equipment lifespan
- Training and mentoring junior team members to enhance their technical skills
- Ordering, managing, and maintaining necessary tools and equipment for daily operations
- Ensuring all work meets local HVAC codes and safety regulations

Required Qualifications:
- Diploma in HVAC or a related technical field
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience working as an HVAC Technician
