We are looking for a skilled and adaptable QA Engineer with expertise in both manual testing and automation to join our healthcare technology team. This hybrid role involves ensuring the quality, reliability, and compliance of our software products while developing scalable automation frameworks. Your efforts will directly impact the delivery of high-quality healthcare solutions that support clinicians, enhance operational efficiency, and improve patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Manual QA (50%)
- Review software requirements and develop detailed test plans and test cases.
- Execute manual tests to validate functionality, usability, and performance.
- Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools.
- Conduct regression testing to maintain the stability of existing features.
- Ensure compliance with Electronic Health Record (EHR) standards and usability requirements.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members to define effective testing strategies.
- Provide constructive feedback and recommendations to improve product quality.

Automation QA (50%)
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Convert manual test cases into automated scripts to increase efficiency.
- Build scalable and reusable automation libraries and components.
- Execute automated test suites covering functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Perform API testing for RESTful services.
- Support cross-browser testing and cloud-based test execution environments.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of automation tools, frameworks, and best practices.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience in software testing, including both manual and automation testing.
- Hands-on experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment.
- Availability to work during US business hours.

Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Playwright for test automation.
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Solid understanding of manual testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of CI/CD integration tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Experience with REST API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
- Ability to write SQL queries and perform database validations.
- Experience with cross-browser testing.
- Familiarity with Docker or containerized environments.
- Proficient in using bug tracking tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
