Hygiene Assistant (Children's Hospital, Lahore)

This opportunity is for a Hygiene Assistant at a reputable children’s hospital located in Lahore. The role offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs 40,000 to Rs 45,000 and involves maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for young patients, their families, hospital staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will employ modern healthcare cleaning methods, use appropriate equipment, and leverage digital tools to uphold strict hygiene and infection prevention standards consistently.

Key Responsibilities
- Clean designated hospital areas such as floors, washrooms, corridors, waiting rooms, furniture, fixtures, and high-touch surfaces in line with approved hygiene and infection control protocols.
- Safely and effectively handle cleaning chemicals, personal protective equipment (PPE), and cleaning tools.
- Adhere to cleaning schedules, colour coding systems, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and follow instructions provided by supervisors.
- Use a smartphone to receive assignments, scan QR codes, document completed tasks, and report any issues or concerns.
- Capture clear photographs of hygiene, maintenance, or facility-related problems when required.
- Promptly report spills, leaks, damaged infrastructure, blocked drains, unsafe conditions, or any other hygiene-related issues.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and tools in good working order and cleanliness.
- Demonstrate willingness to learn and operate modern cleaning machinery, including floor-cleaning machines, automated equipment, and cleaning robots as they are introduced.
- Cooperate fully with inspections, training sessions, and quality control assessments.
- Maintain a polite, respectful, and professional attitude when interacting with patients, families, and hospital staff.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum education level of Matriculation; Intermediate education is preferred.
- Presentable and well-groomed appearance.
- Polite, respectful, honest, and reliable character.
- Hardworking, physically active, punctual, and disciplined.
- Comfortable working in an environment with children and their families.
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and consistently.
- Confident in using a smartphone, including basic applications and QR code scanning.
- Capable of taking clear photographs using a smartphone.
- Eagerness to learn modern healthcare cleaning techniques, machinery, and digital technology.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
