We are seeking an experienced and fast-learning PHP Developer to help maintain and develop our SAAS products. The ideal candidate will have strong English reading, writing, and communication skills, and a proven track record with software development. A strong portfolio of past work will be key. Full time 40 hours a week Monday to Friday 11 am - 7 pm.
The position requires you to work from home, you must provide a reliable internet connection and a distraction-free working environment. A laptop and equipment will be provided.
Required skills:
- Strong proficiency in PHP, with a good understanding of the Laravel framework.
- Comfortable with front-end JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Understanding of MVC and REST design practices.
- Experience with relational databases like MySQL.
- Understanding of version control tools like GIT.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Build, Test, and Deploy PHP applications and services.
- Write secure maintainable code that follows good practices.
- Integrate with third-party APIs
- Investigate and Debug issues through all parts of the service.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science or a related field and 2 years experience. A candidate with no qualifications but a strong portfolio and the confidence to prove themselves will also be considered.
