HDC is looking for several highly motivated and self-directed Test Automation Lead/ Architect to support the business. As part of a company-wide focus on customer experience, the Test Automation Architect will touch all things digital, including mobile, API and web applications. With a focus on increasing product reliability, the qualified candidates will work closely with developers, product owners, test leads, engineers, and team members to identify areas and methods to drive testing efficiencies and expand test coverage.
In this role, you will continuously develop new skills to improve testing and automation capabilities of products. Required skills and responsibilities include:
- Participating in all Agile ceremonies
- Developing and maintaining automated Test Scripts in a CI/CD environment
- Executing automated functional and regression test cases
- Providing test estimates, recording, tracking, and reporting defects to identify the status of the sprint and system stability
- Developing Gherkin Syntax to build out user scenarios; Ruby/Java Methods to automate Gherkin Syntax
- Maintaining Page Object Model Framework for all products supported
- Continuously refactoring Ruby/Java Methods and Page Object Models to drive further testing efficiencies
- Identifying and managing all test data required for testing
- Overseeing or doing manual test execution in instances where tests can’t be automated
- Knowledge of web application design, development, and testing processes, tools and methodologies, including understanding and practical knowledge of back-end integration
- Must have hands -on- experience on Technologies and tooling such as Selenium, Selenide, Junit, SoapUI, Jenkins, Continuous integration, Continuous Delivery, JAVA, Python and JIRA
- Hands–on experience creating and maintaining manual testing documentation and automated testing tasks
