We are looking for an experienced IAM Operations Analyst to join our team in Hyderabad. This role is vital in supporting daily Identity and Access Management (IAM) activities across enterprise systems. The successful candidate will manage user access, oversee Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) processes, and ensure secure and compliant access for employees, contractors, and partners. Practical experience with Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), and IT service management tools like ServiceNow is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities
Identity & Access Management:
Manage user onboarding, transfers, role changes, and offboarding (JML) processes. Provision, modify, and revoke access to enterprise applications and systems in line with approved roles and security policies. Handle urgent access requests and user terminations promptly.
Directory & Account Administration:
Create, update, disable, and maintain user accounts within Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD). Manage security groups, distribution lists, and group memberships. Support administration of privileged, administrative, and service accounts. Assist with account cleanup and identity reconciliation tasks.
Service & Ticket Management:
Process IAM requests and incidents using ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools. Ensure all requests are completed within SLA timelines. Maintain accurate documentation and audit-ready records. Escalate complex issues to IAM Engineering teams when necessary.
Compliance & Audit Support:
Assist with access reviews, certifications, and audit activities. Ensure compliance with least-privilege principles and security best practices. Follow IAM policies, standards, and operational procedures to maintain regulatory compliance.
Continuous Improvement:
Adhere to IAM standard operating procedures (SOPs), runbooks, and operational processes. Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation. Contribute to documentation and knowledge management efforts.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of experience in IAM Operations, Access Management, or IT Operations.
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Strong understanding of Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) processes.
- Experience working with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
- Knowledge of access control models, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and least-privilege principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to IAM and governance tools such as SailPoint.
- Experience supporting audits, compliance activities, or access reviews.
- Background in regulated industries such as healthcare or financial services.
Key Competencies
Attention to detail and operational discipline are critical. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are necessary to work effectively within global teams. The ability to handle sensitive information confidentially is essential. Flexibility to support shift-based operations or global teams is also important.
