IBM Guardium Solution Architect — Lead

We are seeking an experienced IBM Guardium Solution Architect based in KSA to join our team on a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will have over eight years of hands-on experience in designing, architecting, and migrating IBM Guardium solutions. This role primarily focuses on leading the initial phases of projects, ensuring robust architecture and smooth migration strategies are in place. The candidate will work closely with various technical teams to deliver secure and scalable Guardium deployments.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the architecture and design of IBM Guardium solutions, ensuring alignment with project goals and security standards.
- Define comprehensive deployment and migration architectures tailored to Guardium environments.
- Design and implement the architecture for CM (Central Manager), CTM (Central Transaction Manager), and Collector components.
- Facilitate and lead technical and architectural discussions with cross-functional teams to drive consensus and clarity.
- Develop detailed migration strategies and technical approaches to support seamless transitions.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout project phases P1 to P3, ensuring quality and adherence to best practices.
- Review solution designs critically and offer expert guidance to migration teams to mitigate risks and optimize performance.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in IBM Guardium architecture and solution design.
- Strong hands-on expertise with IBM Guardium, particularly in CM, CTM, and Collector architecture.
- Proven experience leading cloud migration initiatives involving Guardium solutions.
- Demonstrated technical leadership skills with the ability to design and implement complex security solutions.
- IBM Certified Deployment Professional – Guardium certification is mandatory, validating deep knowledge and deployment capabilities.
