Position Overview: The Staff Accountant will be responsible for managing various accounting tasks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This role involves preparing financial statements, handling accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with Canadian and U.S. tax preparation for individuals and corporations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports for our clients.
- Assist with the preparation of individual and corporate tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Develop and create accounting and tax technical content for training sessions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills in English.
