Graphic Designer

Ideal Printing & Packaging is seeking a skilled Graphic Designer with at least one year of experience in print design and production. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong proficiency in CorelDraw and related graphic design software, along with practical knowledge of printing press operations. This role focuses on creating visually appealing print materials that meet client specifications and support the companys branding and packaging objectives. The candidate must be detail-oriented, creative, and capable of managing the end-to-end design process with a clear understanding of color management and typography. The Graphic Designer collaborates closely with the production team to ensure designs are print-ready and align with technical requirements. Although this role does not include team management responsibilities, the candidate will play a vital role in guiding print preparation and supporting smooth print production workflows. Effective communication with clients and colleagues is essential to ensure designs meet expectations and deadlines are consistently met.
Responsibilities

Create and design print-ready graphics and layouts using CorelDraw software, ensuring high-quality standards.
Develop visual concepts and design materials that meet client specifications and align with company branding.
Utilize typography, color management, and print production knowledge to produce accurate and appealing designs.
Prepare files and artwork for printing by applying print production best practices to guarantee correct color output and resolution.
Collaborate with printing press operators and production teams to optimize design and printing processes.
Review proofs and final outputs for accuracy and quality before print runs and make necessary adjustments.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of printing technologies, software updates, and industry trends to enhance design quality.
Manage multiple design projects efficiently, meeting deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Communicate with clients and internal teams to gather project requirements and provide design recommendations.
Support prepress activities such as typesetting, layout preparation, and file conversion to meet production standards.
