IELTS Instructor (PECHS)

We are seeking a dedicated IELTS Instructor to lead comprehensive preparation classes focusing on all four components of the IELTS exam: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. The ideal candidate will design and deliver structured lesson plans, develop teaching materials, and conduct practice exercises and mock tests to help students improve their English proficiency and achieve their target band scores. This role requires a strong commitment to student progress, detailed feedback, and maintaining an engaging and professional learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct IELTS preparation classes covering Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking modules.
- Develop structured lesson plans, teaching materials, practice exercises, and mock tests tailored to student needs.
- Assess students’ English proficiency and identify specific areas requiring improvement.
- Provide detailed, constructive feedback on IELTS Writing Task 1 and Task 2 assignments.
- Facilitate speaking practice sessions and evaluate students using official IELTS assessment criteria.
- Teach effective test-taking strategies, time management techniques, and examination skills to enhance student performance.
- Monitor student progress regularly and offer individualized support to help students reach their target band scores.
- Maintain accurate attendance records, assessment results, and student progress reports.
- Conduct regular mock examinations and provide thorough performance analysis to guide student improvement.
- Stay updated on the latest IELTS test formats, assessment criteria, and teaching methodologies to ensure high-quality instruction.
- Foster a professional, supportive, and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with the academic team to continuously improve teaching quality and student outcomes.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
- IELTS overall band score of 7.5 or above, with strong Writing and Speaking skills.
- Previous experience teaching IELTS or English language courses is advantageous.
- Comprehensive understanding of IELTS Academic and General Training modules.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong classroom management, presentation, and student engagement abilities.
- Ability to accurately evaluate IELTS Writing and Speaking tasks using official assessment criteria.
- Proficiency in preparing lesson plans, teaching resources, and student assessments.
