Video Editor and Graphic Designer

Ihsan and Company is seeking a skilled Video Editor cum Graphic Designer with at least two years of professional experience. This role demands a blend of traditional video editing and graphic design expertise along with advanced knowledge in AI generative tools for creative content development. The successful candidate demonstrates proficiency in using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, and Canva. A strong understanding of technical and design principles, including prompt engineering for AI outputs and mastery of color theory, typography, and visual composition, is essential to deliver high-quality, visually compelling content. The role emphasizes innovation through AI-assisted creative processes, requiring familiarity with AI image, video, and audio generation tools. This position does not involve managing a team but requires the ability to independently produce polished video and graphic materials that align with client demands and brand guidelines. Candidates must submit a portfolio and demo reel highlighting their combined skills in video editing, graphic design, and AI-generated visual projects, reflecting originality, technical skill, and design sensibility.

Responsibilities

Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished final products using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut Pro.
Create visually engaging graphic designs using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, and Canva that align with project goals and brand identity.
Utilize AI generative tools to create or enhance images, videos, and audio clips, applying prompt engineering to ensure consistency in faces, styles, and lighting.
Implement fundamental design principles including color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy to produce compelling thumbnails and visuals.
Collaborate closely with the creative team and stakeholders to interpret project briefs and deliver outputs on time and at high quality.
Maintain a well-organized library of video and graphic assets, ensuring easy access and effective version control for ongoing projects.
Continuously research and stay updated on emerging tools and trends in video editing, graphic design, and AI-assisted creative technologies.
Prepare and present portfolios and demo reels that showcase the range and quality of video editing, graphic design, and AI-generated work.
Optimize final video and graphic files for various platforms and formats respecting technical specifications and quality standards.
