About the Job
We are looking for competent, experienced Word Press Developers. You will be a remote worker that works in tandem with UK office hours from your home during regular business hours (at least 40 hours per week).
After a successful probationary period in your home country, the selected candidates will be sponsored (with a work permit) to work from our London office. You will be provided more information about this process on your Job offer at the final interview
Responsibilities:
Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code
Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions
Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions
Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
Design interfaces to improve user experience
Liaise with the Product development team to plan new features
Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards
Skills/ Experience Required::
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science or Information Technology.
Proven work experience of at least 5 years as a WordPress Developer.
AWS server and deployment knowledge
Strong HTML, CSS and Responsive Web Design (RWD) skills
In-depth understanding of PHP, MySQL / database management, jQuery, JavaScript, API connections, WordPress technologies (themes and plugins) and SEO best practices for web development
REST API development & familiarity with JIRA
Knowledge of code versioning tools such as bitbucket and Git.
Ability to project manage.
Good communication skills.
