As an Import/Export Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods and overseeing shipping logistics for both inbound and outbound shipments. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all import/export operations, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and company policies.
- Prepare necessary documentation for import/export activities, including invoices, bills of lading, shipping instructions, and certificates of origin.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping agents, and customs authorities to facilitate timely and efficient transportation of goods.
- Monitor shipments and maintain communication with internal teams and external partners to provide updates and meet deadlines.
- Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues arising during the import/export process.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of international trade laws and tariffs to ensure accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with various departments to coordinate logistics activities and align with overall business objectives.
- Assist in negotiating contracts and pricing with transport and logistics providers to optimize costs and service quality.
