Import / Export Officer - Female

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Import/Export Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing the import and export activities to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations. This role requires a strong understanding of the logistics and compliance processes involved in international trade.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee import and export operations to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Prepare and review import/export documents, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
Monitor shipments to ensure timely receipt and dispatch of goods.
Resolve any logistical and documentation issues that arise during the shipment processes.
Communicate with suppliers and customers to handle inquiries and provide updates on shipments.
Maintain records of all import and export transactions for audit and compliance purposes.
Collaborate with other departments to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and regulatory changes affecting international trade.

Requirements:

1-2 years of experience in import/export operations or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and documentation.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with vendors, shipping agents, and customers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to interpret and apply compliance regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
Certification in import/export operations or related field is desirable.
Good understanding of global shipping routes and international logistics.
