Imtiaz Group (Private) Limited is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Warehouse Operations to join its team at the Port Qasim facility in Karachi. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in warehouse management, inventory control, and logistics operations. The successful candidate will oversee daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, processing, and dispatch of goods while maintaining high standards of accuracy and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, material handling, picking, packing, labeling, and dispatch activities to ensure smooth workflow and timely order processing.
- Maintain proper handling and storage practices to preserve product quality and safety.
- Keep accurate records using ERP, SAP, or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), including managing Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Material Transfer Notes (MTN), and daily Material Receiving Reports (MRRs).
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and investigate discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Implement stock rotation methods such as FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) to optimize stock usage and reduce waste.
- Supervise warehouse staff by assigning daily tasks, providing on-the-job training, monitoring productivity, and ensuring adherence to operating procedures.
- Support warehouse audits and maintain compliance with company standards.
- Coordinate with supply chain and store operations teams to facilitate timely stock replenishment and dispatch, preventing delays and stock shortages.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements, cost reduction, and efficient allocation of staff, machinery, and storage space based on workload and seasonal demand.
- Uphold operational standards and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

- MBA in Supply Chain Management or a related field from a reputable university.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in warehouse or supply chain management, demonstrating strong practical knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP, with the ability to handle warehouse-related transactions effectively.
- Solid understanding of inventory control techniques including stock rotation and cycle counting.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in supervising teams and managing daily warehouse workloads.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills to work effectively with supply chain and store operations teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to identify discrepancies, improve processes, and manage operational challenges efficiently.
