Al-Mustafa Hospital is looking for a skilled and experienced In-Charge to lead its Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing both the clinical and operational functions of the unit, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care. This role requires strong leadership abilities, clinical expertise, and the capacity to manage critical situations with accuracy and professionalism. The In-Charge will play a vital role in coordinating the ICU team and managing resources to maintain the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the ICU to ensure efficient and smooth functioning.
- Coordinate effectively among ICU doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide seamless patient care.
- Monitor critically ill patients closely and implement timely clinical interventions as necessary.
- Assist with and perform advanced airway management procedures, including endotracheal intubation and Direct Laryngoscopy (DL).
- Demonstrate proficiency in anesthesia-related procedures and the insertion and management of Central Venous Pressure (CVP) lines.
- Ensure proper ventilator management in line with ICU protocols.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergency and critical care situations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records while ensuring compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols.
- Lead, mentor, and guide ICU staff to consistently uphold professional and clinical standards.

Required Qualifications
- MBBS degree with MCPS in Anesthesia or FCPS Part-I cleared in Anesthesia.
- Relevant experience in ICU, critical care, and anesthesia.
- Hands-on experience with intubation, CVP line procedures, Direct Laryngoscopy, and ventilator management.
- Strong clinical and decision-making skills essential for managing critically ill patients.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate the ICU team.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and confidently handle emergency situations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of critical care protocols and patient safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
- Previous experience in a supervisory or In-Charge role within an ICU setting is advantageous.
- The position is based at the hospital’s location in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 13C, Karachi.
- This is an in-person role requiring the candidate to be physically present at the hospital.
