We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Incharge Proposals to lead the development of technically robust, competitive, and commercially viable proposals. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams such as engineering, procurement, and project management, as well as external stakeholders, to ensure that all proposals comply with client requirements, risk parameters, and submission deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bid preparation within the Oil & Gas or EPC sectors, combined with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop bid preparation strategies and plan resources effectively to deliver high-quality and competitive proposals.
- Coordinate across multiple departments including Engineering, Procurement, Project Management, and business unit leaders to gather necessary inputs and accurate cost estimates.
- Identify potential risks at the bid level and establish contractual safeguards to minimize long-term liabilities for the organization.
- Prepare and finalize comprehensive proposal documentation in accordance with Invitation to Bid (ITB) guidelines and internal company standards.
- Ensure timely handover of completed bids to the Business Development team within agreed deadlines.
- Support the Head of Department in budgeting for proposals, tracking variances, and achieving overall departmental targets.
- Maintain communication with vendors, subcontractors, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities throughout the proposal process.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical.
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including:
- 3 to 5 years in the Oil & Gas or EPC industry.
- 2 to 3 years in Project Management or Project Organizations.
- At least 2 years focused on Contracts and Commercial Bid Administration.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
