A seasoned Java Full Stack Lead with over 13 years of experience is sought to drive development and technical leadership within a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Java technologies, including Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs, along with hands-on experience in front-end development using React, JavaScript, and HTML. This role requires a flexible developer who can contribute to both coding and architectural decisions, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure applications. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, containerization tools like Docker, and orchestration frameworks including Kubernetes or OpenShift is essential. The candidate will also be responsible for supporting cloud deployments, production releases, and maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, architecture, and technical decision-making processes for Java Full Stack applications. Mentor and guide developers through code reviews and promote engineering best practices. Ensure the performance, scalability, security, and reliability of applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud deployments and production releases. Drive continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, leveraging Git and DevOps methodologies. Maintain hands-on involvement in development tasks, balancing leadership with active coding contributions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 13 years of experience in Java Full Stack development with a flexible approach to hands-on coding.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and RESTful API development.
- Proficient in front-end technologies including React, JavaScript, and HTML.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Skilled in containerization and orchestration tools including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, and DevOps practices.
- Proven ability to lead application design and make critical technical decisions.
- Experience mentoring developers and conducting thorough code reviews.
