Information Technology Business Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to act as a vital link between business stakeholders and technical teams, playing a strategic role in the design and delivery of our Generative AI and Web 3.0 ecosystem. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements and translating them into clear, actionable tasks for development teams. This role involves owning the strategy and design of high-impact features that enhance developer experience, drive product adoption, and contribute to revenue growth. The position is based in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Research:
Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation. Define and own the product vision, goals, and roadmap for Gen AI and Web 3.0 offerings, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Stay updated on advancements in Generative AI, Blockchain, and Web 3.0 technologies to guide product direction and maintain a competitive advantage.

Requirements Gathering & Documentation:
Collaborate with stakeholders from design, marketing, sales, and engineering to define and refine product needs. Gather, analyze, and document both functional and non-functional requirements through interviews, workshops, and secondary research. Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, wireframes, process diagrams, and acceptance criteria.

Product Execution:
Define and maintain the product backlog, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business impact and user value. Support agile sprint cycles by working closely with development and QA teams to ensure that feature delivery meets defined requirements. Act as the voice of the customer and business during product development to ensure usability and quality standards are met.

Performance Monitoring & Improvement:
Utilize analytics and user feedback to track product adoption, measure outcomes, and identify areas for continuous improvement. Proactively recommend and document enhancements to optimize functionality and user experience.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should have 2-4 years of relevant experience with the following skills:

Market & Competitor Analysis: Demonstrated ability to conduct and synthesize market research, competitor benchmarking, and customer analysis to inform product strategy and positioning.

Business Documentation: Expertise in producing high-quality documentation such as Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, Process Flows, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.

Analytical Thinking: Strong data-driven mindset with the ability to extract insights from both qualitative and quantitative data to support decision-making.

Product & Process Modeling: Proficiency in tools like Draw.io or Microsoft Visio for modeling workflows, use cases, and system interactions.

Communication & Presentation: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Stakeholder Management: Experience collaborating across departments and balancing diverse stakeholder needs to align priorities and deliver value.

User-Centric Mindset: Deep understanding of user journeys, pain points, and usability principles to guide product design and enhancements.

Agile & Scrum Proficiency: Familiarity with agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and reviews, along with tools like JIRA, Trello, or ClickUp.

Documentation & Traceability: Skilled in maintaining clear audit trails and change logs to ensure version control, traceability, and compliance throughout the development lifecycle.

Problem-Solving & Initiative: Resourceful and proactive, capable of working independently to identify gaps, propose solutions, and drive action.

Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Educational Qualifications

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field from a reputable university with a strong academic record is required.
